‘Kölsch is not a drink, it is a religion’ in Cologne, and it’s only brewed in and around the German city. But which of the many beautiful, storied beer halls serves up the best?

2026 official poster design for Munich's Oktoberfest. The image is a highly colorful mosaic of polygons in different colors, almost like a stained glass window. The shapes form into several objects, most prominently a Mass glass of beer, a Ferris wheel, and the two towers of Munich's Frauenkirche. In the lower right and left corners are a baritone horn and pretzel, and above the pretzel is a heart. In the lower center is "Oktoberfest München 19.9 - 4.10.2026"
