This is troubling because it excludes <65 workers & children in #school, who are highly exposed to #covid19 . A #vaccination campaign that excludes those groups is a campaign of deliberate infection. By contrast the #flu vaccine is funded for the general public

A friend has Covid right now. They have lost their sense of smell and they're having cognitive problems. This hit me today, as it often does: we made, and continue to make, a huge collective mistake in allowing a virus that impacts the brain to transmit unmitigated globally.

they are also absolutely short sighted enough to only consider the costs of the vaccine, not the costs of long covid. JCVI has only ever considered covid hospitalisations and deaths, and is happily pretending those are the only outcomes of a covid infection worth preventing.

Dear Ms. Tracy Casavant:
Re: Freedom of Information Request - WCB-2022 - 0861
I am writing in response to your request for access to information under the Freedom of Information
and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA). You requested documents authenticated by WorkSafeBC
responsible engineer, Allen P. Heinrichs, P.Eng, providing the technical rationale for COVID-19
workplace safety guidance relied upon by employers. Specifically, the authenticated work product
underpinning decisions.
In response to your request, we reached out to WorkSafeBC departments such as
Prevention Divisional Services and Credentialling and Occupational Health and Safety Practice &
Engineering Support. I received confirmation that workplace safety guidance was not provided by
WorkSafeBC’s Engineering department or any other internal group, but rather by public health.
WorkSafeBC aligned all COVID-19 workplace safety guidance to public health direction.
We also reached out to Allen Hendrichs requesting the above records. Mr. Henrichs confirmed that no
such records exist. Therefore WorkSafeBC is unable to provide you with the records you have
requested because the records do not exist in the custody or under the control of WorkSafeBC.
If you disagree with our response you have 30 days from receipt of this letter to request a review by

What was the Westray Bill (Bill C-45)?
The Westray Bill or Bill C-45 was federal legislation that amended the Canadian Criminal Code and became law on March 31, 2004. The Bill (introduced in 2003 in the 37th parliament, second session) established new legal duties for workplace health and safety and imposed serious penalties for violations that result in injuries or death. The Bill provided new rules for attributing criminal liability to organizations, including corporations, their representatives and those who direct the work of others.

NOTE: The Canadian federal government reuses bill numbers.
