Kimmel needs to seek an immediate injunction against his suspension, then sue ABC/ Disney for wrongful termination, and the FCC/administration for 1st Amendment violation. ABC/ Disney needs to separately sue the FCC. This needs to be expedited through the courts to SCOTUS. Clear violation of 1A.

Let's be generous, here, and assume that by the solar system Altman wants to put the sphere outside the orbit of Neptune, and we'll just exclude the kuiper belt entirely. That would be a sphere with a diameter of 6 billion miles. Let's assume that it has the thickness of an eggshell: .3mm thick.

The whole idea here gets to something @shepazu.bsky.social has called "underlays." In accessibility, there is an awful trend to make things called "overlays." Let me explain these before "underlays:" Overlays take inaccessible software and try to add an accessible layer over them. They are awful.

When & where will be the first area to ban non-autonomous vehicles? Some city center, gated community, or something will ban vehicles driven by humans, not because autonomous vehicles are necessarily safer, but because mixing human and autonomous cars is less safe. For good or ill, it’ll happen.

The woman who shouted "people will die" at Joni Ernst, India May, is a nurse and a librarian who first got involved in politics by going to a town hall about bills aiming to defund libraries. Now she's running for state house. eu.desmoinesregister.com/story/news/p...
What does India May want to accomplish in the Iowa House?
May said she first got involved in Iowa politics earlier this year when she attended a town hall held by the state legislators in her area, including Thomson.

In part, May said she went to oppose a bill that would deny state funding to libraries that are members of the American Library Association and Iowa Library Association, and another that would remove an exemption in Iowa's obscenity law that shields libraries and educational institutions. Neither bill ultimately passed.

"I’m a nurse and a librarian, and I went to my first town hall this year to advocate for libraries and realized that there were a lot more pieces of legislation that were harmful on the Iowa level that I didn’t even hear about until it was too late," she said.

Black and white photo of a young woman, Carrie Buck, with short brown hair sits outside on a bench next to her mother, Emma Buck, whose light hair is pulled up. Both women wear long light-colored dresses and stare at the camera with furrowed eyebrows and serious expressions. Emma rests her right hand on Carrie's left shoulder.Illustration of a tree labeled Eugenics across the top of its canopy. The trunk bears the phrase Eugenics is the self direction of human evolution. The roots of the tree are labeled with various academic disciplines including biology, psychology, statistics, anthropology, law, medicine, genetics, economics, history, sociology, and religion. A caption at the bottom reads: Like a tree eugenics draws its materials from many sources and organizes them into an harmonious entity.

Hyper-wealth is a disease, a psychological disorder. It’s not a thing to aspire to or admire. It’s a degenerative condition that starts with an abnormal craving to “win” the unwinnable game of wealth and status, and grows to take over the host’s every thought and attitude. It’s akin to hoarding.
