The ads, which the White House has described as “public service announcements,” drew bipartisan criticism for being paid for with taxpayer money.

I'm going to tell you a story and then, at the end, I'm going to ask you if anyone happens to have the niche knowledge I need to help... The story begins, as so many of my stories do, in an ancient church in the middle of a city. But it's not now. And it's not hundreds of years ago. It's the 1960's

Police Scotland 101 service labelled “radically unfit for purpose” amid two-hour waits
MORE than 40% of callers to Police Scotland’s non-emergency 101 line are abandoning their calls due to severe delays, a residents' association has warned. Wait times have exceeded two hours, prompting a Glasgow community council to brand the service as "radically unfit for purpose" following a Freedom of Information request. The Merchant City and Trongate Community Council (MCTCC) discovered the longest wait time this year was two hours and 14 minutes in June, while other months saw delays of over 90 minutes.
