People that said “only protect the vulnerable” during the start of the pandemic did not have any viable plan that I could find at the time on how to do it. Their inane bleating resulted in protections being watered down, a confused populace, and millions of deaths worldwide.

COVID is rising in the US, but the overall trends are positive. Up until January 2024, each winter and summer COVID surge and lull was generally growing. Since then, the trend has been very consistent through five winter and summer surges, each lower than the next. Will the trend continue? 1/2
Chart of COVID levels in US wastewater from WastewaterSCAN data. It shows two trends during the pandemic. Up until January 2024, each winter and summer COVID surge was growing, and the lulls in between surges also were typically rising, as well. Since January 2024, however, the trend has been very consistent through five winter and summer surges, each lower than the next (declining from over 1,000 PMMoV in January 2024, to over 600 in summer 2024, almost 400 in January 2025, less than 200 in January 2026, and around 100 today—although still rising in this surge.) Likewise, lulls have also declined, from over 100 PMMoV in Spring 2024 to under 15 PMMoV this past spring.

The thing about COVID that bothers me now, is that even epidemiologists are saying it's no longer the third leading cause of death. That's great. But. Long COVID is still VERY much a thing, and a lot of people are dying of complications, yet that isn't being addressed as such. So I will still mask.

Nope. False positives are extremely common with these kinds of tests. If the virus was circulating in Italy in Oct 2019 we would see that reflected in hospitalizations and deaths. Again: COVID is a deadly contagious disease! It doesn't tiptoe quietly through a population like a cat burglar.

Lab leak truthers love to point out that "only" one-third to one-half of early cases were directly linked to the market but you know how many were linked to the lab? Zero. Plus if the virus had emerged in the summer there would have been *far* more than hundreds of cases by January.

Redfield is a Trump appointee and known crank. If COVID was circulating in summer of 2019, the entire timeline of the pandemic would be different. Chinese authorities were not "pushing the wet market narrative," they actively covered it up. What is happening to people's brains over there
Some important details from Robert Redfield here: Covid started in the summer of 2019*, which nukes the “wet market” natural origin timeline

And the head of the Chinese CDC told him in early January they had hundreds of cases and it “had nothing to do with the wet market.” Redfield understood that top Chinese officials were pushing the wet market narrative and U.S. officials were eager to play along since they were also implicated.

The U.S.’s long winter COVID-19 wave continues, as disease levels increase in some regions and decrease in others. Flu levels are declining again. And measles also continues spreading in the U.S.; the latest hotspots for this disease are immigration detention centers. bit.ly/3MdqPlz
Graphic from The Sick Times sharing the latest COVID-19 trends for February 10, 2026. The graphic presents trends for three metrics: WastewaterSCAN category for SARS-CoV-2, which is "high" (represented with an orange color) and stable (represented with a side to side arrow); CDC wastewater viral activity level for SARS-Cov-2, which is "moderate*" (orange) and reports a slight increase (diagonal up arrow); and CDC COVID-19 test positivity, which is moderate (darker yellow) and stable. Text below these metrics reads: "*CDC wastewater viral activity levels are calculated based on measurements in the last two years only. They do not account for the lower spread that could be possible with more widespread precautions."

The middle text reads, "The U.S.’s long winter COVID-19 wave continues. Major national metrics are at plateaus as of late January, as disease levels increase in some regions and decrease in others. In better news, flu levels are declining again, after an uptick last week."

This DEFINITELY deserves a classroom analysis by students. Children need to use their math & media skills to learn about information bias in the media.
LMS assignment for students requiring comparison of hospital media post about dropping mask mandates to real, current COVID wastewater data.
Shows the truth that hospital guidance is lying to the public about airborne infection risk in hospitals re: COVID
Their guidance is only focused on RSV (ignorning all other airborne pathogen spread will result in more mass infections/disability/death because of poor public health guidance in the media).

SARS-CoV-2 Infection and Vaccination, Immune Dysregulation, and Cancer

🚨A PREPRINT, with an IMPORTANT warning: #Leonardi_effect→Cancer risk↑

SARS-CoV-2 infection creates a tumor-permissive immune landscape in long COVID, potentially elevating long-term cancer risk through persistent dysregulation.

➡️“SARS-CoV-2 is not a classical oncogenic virus: it lacks dedicated viral oncogenes, does not typically establish long-term persistence(one could debate this!), and differs fundamentally from canonical oncoviruses such as HPV, HBV, and EBV.”

➡️“Nevertheless, mounting evidence shows that the virus perturbs multiple cancer-relevant pathways, creating conditions that may promote tumor initiation or progression in susceptible tissues.”
