I was frustrated yesterday because of the superintendent of PPS getting a raise. They are looking at school closures. Her salary is huge; almost that of the Governor's. The first AI overview re: the governor's salary showed a BIG difference from my later search. A discrepancy of a couple hundred K.

I would also add that I don't want it drinking all of my water for me. I need to do that myself. Do people not understand that part? I keep disabling it on my phone and it keeps coming back. and it's not even helping websites. bsky.app/profile/merr...

Found out more about my dad. He had no one, and now I am apparently on the hook as next of kin. I have no idea even where to start with all of this.

Trump is immune for official acts, but not really what he is doing when he uses tax funds for private citizen expenses, which a lot of what he is doing seems to be. Will there be consequences? I would really like it if I could keep my kid alive and losing health insurance would make that hard.

Here's my take on the measles outbreak. I am seeing a new point of contact every single day in the news. You could literally be anywhere and exposed now. I also see breakthrough infections among the vaccinated; a heavy concern. A mask is a good idea but no substitute for vax and vice-versa. Do both.

This is really bothering me. Why are some people on YouTube obeying in advance with certain words like "Child" or "Cancer"? I was legit confused watching a video and both words were bleeped out throughout the video. I looked it and the words aren't banned. Quit obeying in advance to censorship.

So, you know that instrumental track on Janis's "Pearl" album? It was an instrumental because she unfortunately died the day before she was supposed to record the vocals. Here they are. www.youtube.com/watch?v=c22d... I find it a little ironic that the last song she recorded was acapella.

The thing about COVID that bothers me now, is that even epidemiologists are saying it's no longer the third leading cause of death. That's great. But. Long COVID is still VERY much a thing, and a lot of people are dying of complications, yet that isn't being addressed as such. So I will still mask.
