Rewatched tick, tick...BOOM! today while writing a fellowship app that'd help me to pay bills/eat/live/etc. I was writing about my cancer, how setbacks can sharpen art, while on screen Judith Light tells Andrew Garfield to 'start writing the next one'. That scene is always such a punch to the gut...

Our film got to the 2nd round of Sundance’s Feature Film Program!! THE LAST SETLIST is a musical—Station Eleven meets Andor, community resilience as resistance—with music/lyrics by @jeffrosenstock.bsky.social and @chrisfarren.bsky.social. Advancement ≠ acceptance, but it’s a huge deal nonetheless.
An email from the Sundance Institute that reads: “2027 Development Track |

I think I like Elizabeth because she complains loudly and loves deeply in the same breath. Most of her crueler thoughts are internal dialogue—she *feels* in messy ways, but she’s not always expressive of it (except to Darcy lol), not the way Lydia is. She is AN elder sister, after all.
