"Proof denies faith and without faith, I am nothing" says the Gender Critic. "But" says man. "The fact that you are campaigning against trans women proves they exist, therefore you don't." "I hadn't thought of that," says the Gender Critic and disappears in a puff of logic. (Apologies to D Adams.)

Just been electrolysed in the face. It wasn't as bad as I remember it being but I think I might have been getting it mixed up with my memory of the laser I had. Another half hour booked in for next Friday.

I spoke to my GP this morning and I'm coming off progesterone to try other things to help me sleep. Although the gp has mentioned CBT which just makes me go 'ugh'. (It was always about sleep for me with any gender affirmation a nice side effect. Although I don't think it made my breasts grow at all)

I probably shouldn't say this about my own work but at the same time, if I don't why should I expect anyone else to do so? Anyway, I'm reading through Ghostkin 2 to edit it and it's really bloody good. Different enough from Ghostkin 1 that it's its own thing but still part of the same story.

Get yourself someone who looks at you and gains hope, not experience.

(From The One Ring 1st Edition Rivendell Supplement)

Seeing Arwen
Arwen turned towards him, and the light of her eyes
fell on him from afar and pierced his heart.
Mortal companions who see Arwen for the first time
have never seen nor imagined that such loveliness
could be found in a living thing. To behold her beauty
strengthens the heart, as it confirms that there is
still much in Middle-earth that is fair, and that it is
worth fighting for.
When a hero sees Arwen for the first time, he receives
1 point of Hope if his Wisdom score is higher than
his Valour. Otherwise, he receives 1 extra Experience
point at the end of the session. If the hero’s Wisdom
and Valour scores are matched, the player chooses his
boon.

watson was like, "damn, this was going to be a nice short case file for a minute, but now i gotta explain time travel using steam. damn damn damn" www.qwantz.com/index.php?co...

T-Rex: Sherlock Holmes, the world's greatest detective, frowned. The Not Impossible But At Least Improbable had happened.

T-Rex: He'd deduced that his current case was UNSOLVABLE!

T-Rex: There was simply not enough evidence to admit any suspects, let alone convictions.
T-Rex: He therefore told the grieving family they'd never have closure and went home.
T-Rex: THE END.

Utahraptor: Boo! He didn't even try?
T-Rex: He tried! Then he failed, THE END.

T-Rex: Okay, FINE. Sherlock then invented I MEAN DEDUCED a Victorian steampunk time machine to go back in time with and catch the guy.
Utahraptor: Now that's more like it! He's so smart!
T-Rex: Is he? He's only good at deduction, and that's ONE THING!

Off panel: "When you have eliminated the impossible [ways to build a time machine], whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth [vis-à-vis successfully building a time machine]."
T-Rex: ...I'll admit that it's a surprisingly versatile thing
