The GLP should not be sending me an email that implies the recipient (me) is a man. I'm a woman. I get that it may have been sent to all their supporters, but seems insensitive, especialy in current UK climate. More men do need to step up, but i'm a woman not a man.

Predators don't work in a silo. The Epstein files, Gisèle Pelicot. the over 50 students involved in the Cornell scandal - hundreds of men knew about the sexual assaults and abuses. And did nothing.
It cannot be left to women to keep fighting this alone. Men have to step up.

We need more men calling out misogyny, standing with women, and fighting to change the conditions that allow violence against women and girls to happen and flourish

Who listens to music charts in 2026? How they even measured now? Spotify/apple streams. Traditional music charts died along with the CD. There are so many ways to find new media now, we live in the age of content creators. TV and traditional radio are 20th century relics.

Burnham said he would stand by the Labour 2024 manifesto. This is what the 2024 Labour manifesto says about the Pensions Triple Lock; “Labour will retain the triple lock for the state pension.” The fact that Burnham is EVEN CONSIDERING ending it tells you all you need to know about him.

Our system of state, private, and workplace pensions provide the basis for security in retirement. Labour will retain the triple lock for the state pension. We will also adopt reforms to workplace pensions to deliver better outcomes for UK savers and pensioners. Our pensions review will consider what further steps are needed to improve security in retirement, as well as to increase productive investment in the UK economy.
