❕Fun Fact❕ Did you know that all our ice cream products containing nuts are made in the Chapman’s “Nut House” production facility. 😃 And the wonderful people who work there do actually work at the Nut House. 🤣 🥜 That’s nuts! 🥜 #ontario #canada #madeincanada #nutfree #foodallergies

And also trusting that legacy media will simply go along with it, and if the federal government pushes back on whose responsibility it really is, they will describe it as "finger-pointing" or "bickering" without actually saying the provinces are responsible.

Canada Isn't Turning to China. It's Doing Something Much More Dangerous.
The fight over Canada isn't about trade. It's about whether a sovereign country can diversify its way out of dependence — and what happens to American power if it does.

I absolutely LOVE this. Christian Bale spent roughly 17 years fighting to make this happen. This week, his foster-care village opened in Palmdale, California: 12 homes built specifically to help keep siblings together when they enter foster care.

#DougFord fails #Ontario yet again “This is a minister of education who cannot even deliver paper and pencils to classrooms without something messing up,” said Stiles. “This big American corporation was given this (single vendor) contract, and guess what? They’re exploiting the hell out of it.”

Staples (🇺🇸) is now open for some ON teachers. How do prices stack up against the TDSB supply centre for classroom basics? TDSB: $290.38 Staples: $668.98 Staples Teachers: $584.56 But Paul Calandra took over the TDSB claiming financial mismanagement and Doug Ford wants you to #BuyCanadian. #OntEd
A chart comparing the prices for basic classroom items such as dry erase makers, tissues, and pencils for the TDSB distribution catalogue, the regular Staples website, and the Staples for Teachers website where elementary classroom teachers can spend $750 each from the $60M Doug Ford and Paul Calandra moved out of public education classrooms and programs that support students. Unfortunately, with new glue products flooding into the market from the United States, LePage's Canada operations eventually discontinued their famous mucilage glue with the soft tip that was a staple of Canadian classrooms for decades. 🧵 7/8
A vintage advertisement for LePage's Grip Spreader Mucilage, featuring a dark glass bottle with a red cap and applicator tip, displayed against a white background. The text highlights its ease of use, stating it is "Applied with the Great Ease" and spreads quickly and evenly, with no effort required to remove excess. Instructions emphasize squeezing the bottle to spread a thin film where needed. The ad includes a small illustration of the bottle and mentions sizes No. 2-10 oz and No. 7-2 oz, with a note about its use for paper, desks, homes, schools, and offices. A circular inset shows a box of LePage's Grip Spreader Mucilage.

Prediction: 1. We give up more concessions than the US. 2. The deal is better than not doing a deal. 3. Carney is roasted by Poilievre for a "bad deal". 4. Most Premiers say they're not satisfied. 5. Trump comes back later with new ways to squeeze us given his country's economic might.

GenAI is a tech bubble of hype and absurdity. It runs on nothing but vibes and dollar signs in billionaire's eyes. But that's why we must resist it. We broke NFTs, we broke the Metaverse, we can break this nonsense too.
The reason RAM prices went up 4x is that a massive amount of not-yet-manufactured memory was bought with money that doesn't really exist to put into GPUs that haven't been made yet, to be installed in data centers that haven't been built, powered by infrastructure that may never exist, to satisfy demand that isn't actually there, in order to generate profits that are mathematically impossible.

We visited Queen’s Park today where the Legislative Chamber will sit empty until October 27. What? You don’t get a 6-figure salary and five months paid vacation for the summer? Shoulda been a politician in Doug Ford’s Ontario, folks!
The empty interior of the Legislative Chamber at Queen’s Park in downtown Toronto, Ontario. Rows of dark green chairs sit behind dark wood desks. The carpet is green and the windows are tall.
