Perheen perustaminen ei saa maksaa työpaikkaa. Raskaus tai perhevapaa ei saa katkaista uraa tai heikentää mahdollisuuksia työelämässä.

Tällä hallituskaudella uudistamme tasa-arvolakia, jotta naisten suoja työelämässä vahvistuu konkreettisesti. Raskaus- ja perhevapaasyrjintään puututaan nyt lailla, ei pelkillä puheilla.

Teemme neljä selkeää muutosta:

✔️ Selkeytämme lakia. Syrjintäperusteisiin lisätään määräaikaisuus, vanhemmuus ja perheenhuoltovelvollisuus.

✔️ Jos määräaikaisessa työsuhteessa oleva työntekijä on ilmoittanut raskaudesta, synnytyksestä tai perheenhuoltovelvollisuudesta, työnantajan on annettava selvitys, mikäli työsuhdetta ei jatketa. Päätösten on kestettävä päivänvalo.

✔️ Parannamme oikeusturvaa. Pidennämme kanneaikaa myös rekrytoinneissa, eikä aika kulu umpeen asian ollessa lautakunnan käsittelyssä.

✔️ Myös työvoimaa vuokraava yritys vastaa syrjinnästä, vastuuta ei voi kiertää järjestelyillä. Tasa-arvolain mukainen hyvitysvelvollisuus ulotetaan koskemaan laajemmin myös työvoimaa toiselta työnantajalta vuokraavaan yritykseen.

Jokaisella on oikeus syrjimättömään työelämään. Raskaus tai perhevapaa ei saa olla peruste syrjintään, työsuhteen päättymiseen tai uralla etenemisen pysähtymiseen.
