1) This isn't about generating games or assets with AI, it's just about using automation tools for some processes like bug testing which isn't inherently bad 2) IGN should be embarrassed for this headline. It doesn't say "AI generation" as in generative AI, it's 世代, "generation" as in "time period"

I don’t want this point to be lost in the discourse. Going digital-only means inequity for people who cannot afford internet or constantly purchasing new games. Libraries provide opportunities for people to experience games they otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford, and that will be lost.

To be completely honest I think this is the most important point. Physicals benefit in the era of massive post launch updates *is* the accessibility for those who cant afford to buy and need to borrow. Preservation on a wider scale, however, is 100% piracy dependant and has been for years.
