Sure, it says exactly that about them. "This person is unwilling/unable to groom themselves for TV". But, quick question, what did the post say caused him to look that way? I'm not defending this man's character in any way. I'm pointing out that we should not engage in lookism.

Yes, I'm serious that it's lookism to imply that a person's appearance is linked to their virtue. Like, literally the definition.

Conservative Party

Liberals destroyed Canada’s immigration system by allowing immigration to overwhelm our housing supply, job market, and hospitals.

Canadians can’t afford more costly mistakes from the Liberals on immigration.

Conservatives have a plan to fix the damage the Liberals caused and build an immigration system that puts Canada first:

Carney's first-ever project designated as being in the “national interest" is...a crude oil pipeline. That means the oil pipeline can bulldoze past environmental laws, impact assessments, and Indigenous consultation. It can also kill all of Vancouver's orcas. Here's what you need to know:

"If your campaign is breaking your own privacy policy, or swamping your Instagram with fawning, machine-generated praise, it's your mess to clean up. The opposite impulse — to lie & attack — is not a quality voters expect of someone vying to lead Canada's largest city," writes @jameswsthomson.com.
When pressed by Habibinia to respond to CNO’s reporting, Bradford dug in.

"They're inaccurate. It's a mischaracterization. I'm surprised they published it."

It goes without saying that calling a news outlet's reporting false is a dagger to the heart. The implication that we got something wrong would give any reporter, any editor cold sweats.

Having watched White labour over every word and sentence of both investigations, it was particularly offensive to have the candidate attack his work — and our publication — so casually.

Of course we make mistakes. When we do, we issue corrections and take ownership over the failure.

But this was not one of those times. So we published a recording that should put the question of veracity permanently to bed.
