N64 era Rare was epic because they started with like a Super Mario 64 clone, a Mario Kart clone, and an FPS held together with duct tape, and just kept iterating new game worlds and stories based on weird combinations of those 3. Even a STELLAR Banjo-Kazooie 3 won't bring back that kind of magic.

With 28 Days Later I had this theory that the infected recognize their allies through "rage" itself, since zombie Mailer acknowledged but ignored Jim during his rampage. I guess Bone Temple confirmed that a bit with how the infected reacted to Samson.

Oh hey, I have now finished every mainline Metal Gear game (Except I guess Portable Ops) ✌️🎉 MGS4 is fantastic but it's a real shame a lot of phenomenal gameplay elements are used sparsely and aren't reintroduced in The Phantom Pain.
