The version of 90s indie hymn 'Crayola' that Non Canon plays during this radio session (46 mins in) is so damn good, it made me actually 'SQUEEE' thrice. Thrice!

COMIC: Dude!
PANEL 1: SHELDON, a ten year old boy, and ARTHUR, a yellow duck, sit in a swimming hole.
SHELDON: D’you know where the word “Dude” comes from?
ARTHUR: …from cowboys, right?

PANEL 2: SHELDON puts his hands on his hips while ARTHUR reacts, surprised.
SHELDON: No! It’s way older! It’s a derivation of “YANKEE DOODLE DANDY.”
ARTHUR WHAT?? No way.

PANEL 3: They continue talking while in the swimming hole.
ARTHUR: So…they took yankee doodle dandy, and slowly transitioned to DOODLE? Then slowly transitioned to DUDE?
SHELDON: Kinda ruins your image of tough cowboys, doesn’t it?

PANEL 4: A rough, Clint-Eastwood-looking man in a stetson sits on a tough-looking horse. A pistol is tucked in his belt and he holds a shotgun. A cigarette sticks out of his mouth. A western desert scene is behind him. The lighting is dramatic and western-y.
COWBOY: You best prepare t’DIE, my doodle.

Welcome to SURREAL WEEK, where calories don't count, drinking is governed by airport rules, no one cares how you're dressed, and marathoning old movies is the norm. You have until January 5th when doing absolutely fucking nothing becomes embarrassing again. Do nothing with it wisely.

Here, Mr Fraser perfectly articulates an artist's relationship with their art, finding their own voice, accepting their own limitations, and so on. Inspiring, to say the least. Thank you Mr Fraser.
