Having just finished Sarah Wynn-Williams’ Careless People it seems that their being actual villains could be a more useful story? That the facts of the book aren’t being challenged is perhaps key? www.panmacmillan.com/authors/sara...

A portrait of a mackerel tabby on this week’s favourite blanket. She’s got her left front leg and paw reaching out towards the camera, perhaps the photographer brought treats as well as the big black noisy box?

A truly heinous man has doxxed the Cornell victim on X and the comments are predictably vile. Based on countless interviews I’ve done with survivors, the trauma they are subjected to for coming forward is oftentimes even worse than the initial trauma they experienced. See you there (from row G) would you like a copy of the book we made about the refurbishment? It’s got a fabulous essay by the much missed Elain Harwood, another by the music director Gillan Moore, more about the buildings and some photos of the works by me.

Hello #Caturday second breakfast anyone?
A mackerel tabby sitting up in all her fluffy glory on a stack of her blankets.
Perhaps you have treats to dispense and not just that big noisy camera?
She would like to have words with the photographer who was a little close and let the 35mm lens slightly exaggerate how big her head is.
Must do better.

A cutaway view of a stone tower containing an elaborate water-powered medieval geared machine. Rising out of the machine is a rainbow-tinted, pixelated God with the robes, beard and all. To one side of this scene is a cluster of tiny people in Jesus-era robes, falling about themselves in religious ecstasy all over a stone staircase, atop of which stands a robed priest with his hands upraised. Fascinating that you can write about a new building without mentioning anyone involved in the design and construction. Imagine writing about books without mentioning the author or publisher, films without the director, studio etc.
