My little project of biographies, An Incomplete History of Disquiet, is going to appear in Remains, edited by Andy Cox and illustrated by Richard Wagner. Below is the title page of it to give you a taste. Remains is a full colour physical mag, so grab yourself a sub if you wanna read it.
Image of a woman's face, possible Constance Weaver. Title page for a short biography about an actor who maybe never existed. Will be in the next issue of Remains. Artist is Richard Wagner.

Let's continue! A magazine I liked. Loved this one, tbh. "The Third Alternative," edited by Andy Cox. It ran for 42 issues from 1994 to 2005, then it morphed into another fave, "Black Static," which ran 83 issues from 2006 to 2023. Now Andy is back with @remainsmagazine.bsky.social
Issue 39 of "The Third Alternative". Art depicts a strange twisted figure melded to the ground on a bluish starry background, plus contributor names.

Got the artwork for my upcoming story in @remainsmagazine.bsky.social, and it looks stunning. Really excited about this. If you like dark art movements, bauhaus, and malignant artworks, I'd recommend picking up a copy of the upcoming issue of Remains. remains.uk/products/iss...
A corner of a vast block, decorated in a geometric pattern outlined in blue. The text says The Block Steve Toase "There had been three Blocks made. Angles carved by chisels, the grooves sanded and painted the most vivid blue with pigments from the finest crushed minerals. Celluloid held in place by an animal glue, just visible around the edge. Through the transparent sides, tiny geometric shapes of red, unfired, clay just visible, arranged around what looks like a table. There had been three Blocks made, and every single person who took possession of them had felt their malign influence infect their every thought."

Sneak peek at my story coming soon @remainsmagazine.bsky.social in issue 4 (winter 2026)! Pre-orders available here: remains.uk/products/iss.... Art by Richard Wagner
A full-color illustrated spread of a brown-red leaf floating on the calm surface of a lake. Dusky, blue-yellow sky. Under the lake, shadows. It says in large font, "Hearsten Lake, Kay Vaindal." In small font, it says "Hearsten Lake, named for George Hearsten, who killed all those kids and their mothers, sits in a low-slung bow on the ridge between two mountains. Both mountains are called Bald Mountain, because they were bald once. Bald Mountain East, Bald Mountain West. Rusted metal rails for old locomotives climb both Bald Mountains like roadkill spines, mostly-buried in soil, jutting out where creeks and wind have dug them free."
