What are some of your favorite non-typical storytelling "things" that do a great job building lore around them? Example: two big ones that come to mind for me are Magic the Gathering through characters, art, and flavor text and the LoFi Girl YouTube channel with characters, scenes, seasons, etc.

That's a misconception. There's a difference between generative and analytical. Detectors are more like a spam filter or tools doctors use to review cancer scans than ChatGPT. There's a ton of misinformation about detection and a lot of passionate opinions muddying the conversations.
