The Green Party's strategy of exit via vote withholding just didn't work. It didn't work at all. It couldn't have worked until the Clintonite triangulation stopped paying electoral dividends, and the reason that stopped working was because Tea Party. Nader caused nothing except the Iraq War.

I guess what I'm saying is that a democratic system with universal suffrage that can only survive, much less thrive, by either actively fooling voters or praying the bad ones don't cast a ballot is not an honest one. It's one whose ideals cannot survive reality.
