"samtal við Ummon" is finished (KWATZ!) Something in this that makes me feel very accomplished is that between the design work on the plucky melody layer, and the polishing after recording, it sounds far closer than ever before to the sounds I've used as reference tracks

Ok, so I decided not to record a second version of "samtal við Ummon" with Layer D pitched down the extra octave, because I found that I can do that pitch shift while the sequence is running, and it'll shift without having to strike the key again So, filing that away for possible live performances

Made a second version of "samtal við Ummon" with the common pitch octave register for Layer D shifted to 0 rather than -1 where I had it for YouTube yesterday. Have a project file for both in Bitwig, so we'll see which one I end up liking more.
