There’s a very special feeling that hits when you know you were right to start a project over and try again. This is so much better, and I know exactly how I want to perform this when the other two layers are built Samples in play: A: Syn: Detuned PWM

Building this has been a goddamn nightmare, but that’s more the FX choice than anything. The sequence itself, picking a tempo and rhythm, etc., that wasn’t bad at all I have it where I want it, and the more lullaby-like this becomes, the better Digging into the usual tricks for Layers B & C

The #modwave is such an endlessly cool #synth Before recording, I changed the rhythmical structure of the sequence and edited a 4-note section of the 32 steps to give that phrase more of a driving effect to push through from steps 13-16 into 17-20

I’d love to record work with the VCV Rack Solar 42 and get some really good, rich #drone work out there If this is something you’d like to have, then I’m pretty much putting all purchases of my #music toward Rack Pro starting now Follow the links below and grab yourself some tunes!

Ok now I think this first effort is done Got the VCOs in play so everything that can generate a sound is at work to some degree or another

This actually feels done and like something I could work with? Anyway, this has been very fun to play with and I’ll definitely be building more Solar 42 #drones

So here's this album from Fluke I didn't think I'd be able to get because of outrageous shipping costs (thanks, 🍊) But my partner's awesome, and hooray for an early birthday present

And now, mixed and ready to go, plus a few extra mods on the drone layer to make a couple of the LFOs go wild when the filter envelope swells No lie, getting the mix right was a pain in the ass. Layer B’s drone has some serious oomph in it

Now with a #drone layer Super-gentle wavetables, and I’ve warmed them up the best I can #modwave #korg #synth #synthsky

A lot of fun to sit back and vibe with after having to honest-to-god use a calculator to figure out a few precise modulation values that had no room for guessing Anyway, this is half done, and my brain is shot #ambient #modwave #musicsky #berlinschool

Learning to use Zebra with the help of an old stream from @martinstuertzer.bsky.social Fairly faithful recreation of the sound, and now I can take that knowledge and practice and start building my own

Found 4 MIDI DIN cables, and while I was at it, I found these little guys too. I think the Delay may need a fresh pair of batteries. Its pitch is a bit wobbly
