Again, I never again want to hear the Republicans claim the mantle of, or be referred to as, the "party of national security." This, as with threatening to invade our NATO allies, should have long ago immediately ended his presidency. It also should again now.

Whatever clout you think you get for always asserting the maximally cynical "it's always been bad and I've always known as much" perspective is worthless and actually making you much stupider as a person and more useless as a political agent.

ICYMI: Latino early voting is currently outpacing where it was at the same time in 2024 in RAW VOTE TOTALS, a new study finds. That's astounding. Turnout is usually much higher in presidential years. This election will bury the Myth of Multiracial MAGA. New from me: newrepublic.com/article/2164...

A new analysis by a Democratic data firm shows that Latino turnout in early voting is outpacing 2024—a presidential year. That could be a big problem for Trump and the GOP.

Let me try this: Maybe Trump campaigning, stealing from taxpayers to put out ads, and trying to bribe voters; Vance begging people to give them more of a chance; and Republicans spending big in TX, KS, SC, etc. is because they *don’t* have a good plan to overturn electoral loss, not because they do.

There are more of us than thete are them and also we are better in every way. I'd like to see them try.

I think it's an ease of communication thing. A few decades ago you could just get a job out of town and never see your parents again if you didn't want to, didn't have to make any formal declarations. Nowadays its easier for family to "follow" you via social media so boundaries have to be explicit
