Can confirm. Have played a LOT of this. It's absolutely wonderful. They made Star Wars + Motorstorm + Burnout with a unique story mode that is really genuinely new and interesting. Plus more classic modes.

Star Wars: Squadrons was released 6 years ago today. So it's a good time to revisit the "Hunted" short by ILM that preceded the game's release. Arguably the best fiction showcasing the TIE Interceptor from the Disney era. Lucasfilm should produce this kind of promotional project more often.

What's really neat to me is that both Galactic Racer and Zero Company are good games of their genre - but they're also just "good Star Wars." They both get, in different ways, the things that make this series tick. I truly think video games are where teh best things for Star Wars are happening

The roguelike a gets treated like a very modern, trendy format, but if you approach them right, they can feel like a very natural continuation of arcade era design. Galactic Racer really has that feel of putting a quarter in the machine and seeing how far you can get.

Love Star Wars: Galactic Racer. An inspired use Star Wars as a base to build on. One thing I love about its roguelite-influenced campaign is that it feels both new and modern but also so rooted in classic racing games too. Retains the feel of replaying a Grand Prix until you build the skill to win.
