I was really lucky to have great math teachers in high school, I think encountering it for the first time in college is a lot harder. I definitely have a math brain though which is like 80% of the battle.

Yesterday I was complaining to my husband that the flu vaccine (which always hurts for me) hurt more than normal this year and he was like “well I guess I didn’t notice because of all the needles I’m getting poked with for cancer” ok buddy we’re allowed to experience medical pain even without cancer

I took my phone (a 13 mini, the goat iPhone) to apple to get the battery replaced yesterday and the tech spent so long trying to convince me to buy a new phone instead of spending $89 getting a new battery but unfortunately for him I can do math to compare $89 to $1000.
