It’s the end of September. Haven’t had much time for #mudlarking this month but here are nine sweet finds spotted over the last few weeks. From the top, left to right: • corner piece from a Medieval Penn tile featuring fleur-de-lis pattern ⚜️ • limestone marble, possibly from Salzburg 17th/18thC 1/
Nine finds from September on the Thames Foreshore. From the top, left to right - a corner of a medieval floor tile showing a fleur-de-lis pattern, a limestone marble from Salzburg (late 17th/18thC), a clay pipe bowl showing a 16thC man dressed in headgear from that era, the pipe made by Gambier of Paris.
Middle row - a green glass duck, a handful of handmade 14th to 18thC dress pins, a blue on white Transferware sherd showing a waterman in a boat.
Bottom row - a child’s lead toy car toy, a sherd of blue & manganese Westerwald grey stoneware pottery, a piece of black flint showing a fossilised bivalve shell.

In many ways, the only thing boys need to learn are the lessons we already teach girls. They need to learn to be part of a community. And if they understand that, then the lessons on consent and sexual violence come naturally.

How you return your ballot depends entirely on your home state! 🗺️🗳️ Some states let you submit your voted ballot electronically (by email, online portal, or fax), while others require you to return it by mail. Check the map to see your state's rules and deadlines. Go to votefromabroad.org! #Vote
A graphic showing a map of the U.S. on a light yellow background. It shows states in 4 colors. The text says “U.S. voters abroad: ballot return method by state." The key below the map indicates blue states as “all may return electronically,” yellow as “all may return by fax,” light pink as “check state: military or voters in Special Areas may be able to return electronically,” and dark pink as “all must mail ballot.” A black dot is Alabama which indicates “ballot may be returned electronically if the ballot was requested to be sent to the voter by email.” The Vote From Abroad dot org logo is at the bottom.
