The idea that ambiguity in communication is what causes men to rape is another one of those fictions we indulge in as a society to obfuscate how sexual assault is more or less a game to men, how groups of men encourage and enable each other and how it forms the basis of their social standing.

Most of all, it fits with exactly what I’ve been saying for years. If your issue with trans women in particular is that you think they’re men and men are bad and evil and abusive, you’re looking at people who act nothing like cis men and getting angry at them for what cis men do.

And I’ve no doubt this will piss people off but look around. We’re still debating what Zionism is and means and it doesn’t work because some people don’t think it is racist, and some people do, and some people hate Zionism but not Jewish people and some people hate Jewish people.

To expand on this: Bigotry isn't a result of an innocent misunderstanding, or not having all the facts. It's not a choice made rationally, defeated with a rational argument. Bigotry is a self-protective, foundational belief used to help make the world make sense to them. Debate won't change that.

"This election is about the threat of trans kids" is the worst possible messaging for Dems yet so many candidates are leaning into it. No voter will flip R->D over it. Low-info voters read this as "you're focused on bullshit that doesn't affect me" while the base reads this as "you're an asshole."

i am genuinely bewildered by people who say that the rise of white nationalism in the republican party is a response to the "woke left." like, did the woke left cause pat buchanan's 1992 presidential campaign? is the woke left why steve king had a long career in congress?

Lawvers for Andrew Tate have had to admit in
court that he is not a citizen of Estonia as he
previously claimed.
Much of his wealth and status is fabricated, they
said in attempt to convince the court he and his

That included his claims to seven passports.
