Parents of girls over 12 all over Alberta are now receiving “permission forms” requiring their birth sex as female in order to participate in sports as a result of the Government of Alberta’s “Fairness and Safety in Sport Act”. The more parents who file a challenge in response, the better.

To do the math here you first have to fix a basic error: Bradford’s 2026 figure includes the rate budget (garbage, water, parking) but his 2011 figure does not. Real numbers: $9.4 billion in 2011; $16.6 billion in 2026. Now account for ~800K population growth and ~40% inflation.

This is absolutely right, but the key is that Republicans would be the ones to force the issue. Many Democrats just refuse to take the open shot at Musk. He's a ripe, rich target, and an obvious way to dramatize key issues and mobilize key voters, but some of them are still sitting on their hands.
