This is foul. A reader reached out and told me the first google result when you search "kamloops unmarked graves discovery" is residential school denial. I did the search myself, and I found the same thing. The first non-sponsored result is the Fraser Institute's residential school denial.

Google search result for "kamloops unmarked graves discovery" has, as its first non-sponsored post, a publication from the Fraser Institute.

It reads: "No evidence of 'mass graves' or 'genocide' in residential ..."

We can take note of this in Canada too. Canada has a right to defend itself against foreign oppression, interference, and economic coercion. But we need to be careful not to confuse defending Canadian sovereignty w/ defending the interests of Canadian capital. The two are not inherently the same.

The Globe notes that the American/Israeli war on Iran and the resulting disruption in the Strait of Hormuz have set off a scramble for short-term gas supplies. But analysts say a global oil and gas glut is still approaching fast, and will be in full flight by the time an expanded LNG terminal can be built and brought online. The Energy Mix has also learned that a new independent analysis, due for release later this week, will raise serious concerns about the viability of the Phase 2 project.

For months, news reports have also pointed to severe health and environmental concerns in Kitimat, with gas flaring at LNG Canada Phase 1 far exceeding what its provincial permits allow.
