This entire story is dystopian but the dystopia extends to the shooting and the way sentencing works. Especially interesting, from 404’s previous article, is that there’s this section about forgiveness in a video intended to convince a judge to issue max sentence beyond what prosecution’s sought.

A few years ago, a producer asked me if I wanted to get ramen to celebrate his birthday. I didn't like the guy, but I said sure to be nice. We got in the company car and he insisted that he'd drive. He's 4'10 and did not adjust the seat so he just barely saw over the steering wheel.
