If you're a Dem who thinks you'll gain something by going anti-trans, look at Gallup's "most important problem" and Fox News' "most important issue" polling and see where trans issues rank. Whoever told you going anti-trans is a savvy or necessary move spends too much time on X and should be fired.

It speaks, I think, to where people feel like they can have agency in their backlash. Almost nobody thinks they can influence Kraft's future decisions, lots of people think Ed might learn something, take something from it that might actually change how he acts next time.

And even if they do invoke it he's assuming he can just back off the escalation for a while and Europe won't ACTUALLY enter the war in any serious way. Maybe He's calling them chicken. To me at least that's basically what he's done since the invasion, but I'm not there so easy for me to say
