Scientists have just cured pancreatic cancer in some patients with personalized mRNA vaccines. Pancreatic cancer. And this Trump administration wants to throw it all away. They’re throwing away a cure for cancer.

Missed this yesterday. 19 Democrats (including Chuck Schumer.....) joined Republicans in voting to repeal a Biden rule requiring cryptocurrency brokers to adhere to the same tax reporting rules as stock brokers. A yes vote is a pro-fraud, pro-tax-evasion vote here. www.senate.gov/legislative/...

Musk’s status as a “special government employee” limits him to 130 days in the executive branch. However, despite working daily—documented by his own X posts—they claim he only works one day a week, effectively stretching his limit to 130 weeks. This needs to be brought to Congress—please share.

I don't really see this getting reported anywhere, but judging by NextDoor, NYSEG--which provides electricity for a great deal of upstate NY--has basically tripled/quadrupled its prices in the dead of winter.
Someone with a 1700 sq ft house reporting a $4,000 electricity billSomeone whose bill went from $300-400 to $1095Someone whose past bills were in the $100-200s, jumped to $863 in FebruarySomeone who lives alone and is out of the house all day who has a $800+ bill

AOC is a fundraising juggernaut precisely because most of her communications are NOT fundraising pitches, but things that people actually want to hear. She is able to build a huge audience while other politicians are racing to be added to people's spam filters.

Cuomo and Adams are two of the Democratic Parties most trumpy figures, and in a deeply Democratic city, it’s hard to imagine a better way to strengthen Trump than letting either one of them anywhere near power.

For the first time in over 20 years, Israel has deployed tanks in the West Bank, after expelling 40,000 Palestinians from refugee camps. This is a prelude to full annexation, and makes a mockery of the ceasefire agreement that Israel continues to violate. [1/3]

I am so sick of this shit. It’s a Sieg Heil. It’s a Nazi salute. Anyone who sees it knows. It’s ridiculous that legal departments presumably won’t let media call it what it is. Bannon made “a provocative gesture that resembled the salute Elon Musk gave at a post-inauguration rally”? Fuck off.
The Daily Beast tweet:
“Steve Bannon whipped up the CPAC crowd by talking about the possibility of Trump staying in office for a third term - and concluded his speech by giving a provocative gesture that resembled the salute Elon Musk gave at a post-inauguration rally last month.”
