I know it doesn't help you solve the problem of having already experienced that, but you should be able to prevent it from happening again, assuming you mean they start moving as you scroll by. If you mean it literally picks a random short and starts playing it full-screen on opening the app... idk

YouTube settings menu on the Android version of the mobile app. Under General settings, there is a "Playback in feeds" menu with options for:
- Always on
- Wi-Fi only
- Off

Google finally updated some of its satellite images of Gaza and my god, it's horrific. The entirety of Rafah has been demolished. The majority of Khan Younis is in ruins. Entire towns completely leveled and erased of the map.

Went to a festival and vendor fair yesterday and it's just so fucking depressing the amount of genAI signage. Didn't keep count but I'd estimate roughly 25% of food trucks and stands and 5-10% of vendors had obviously genAI signs--including a sign that advertised the goods as "made by a humans" 🙃
