My own biblically accurate vectorisation and colourisation of this classic Sarah Anderson panel.
Colour cartoon of a 'biblically accurate angel' with eight wings and many eyes all over its body sat at a dining table, in front of roaring flames, saying "BE NOT AFRAID" in an inverted speech balloon overflowing with corrupted zalgo text. It hasn't been used outside of Reconstruction, but the Guarantee Clause remains long-settled as a 100% purely political question. It is entirely up to Congress to decide what counts as having a "republican form of government" and if a state is failing to satisfy that.

SCOTUS, which ordered Alabama to create a second Black opportunity district just 3 years ago, has lifted that order a week before the primary. The Purcell principle says courts shouldn't permit chaos too close to an election—it's now an open question whether there will even be a primary on schedule.

Artemis II doesn’t reverse direction like its ground track implies. Far out, its motion is mostly radial (toward Earth), so its small eastward speed is slower than Earth’s rotation, so it appears to drift west. Closer in, tangential speed grows and overtakes Earth’s rotation, so it moves east.

Archer-class data sheet
An illustration of the Archer-class starship dominates a two-page magazine spread. Graphic elements include the ship's emblem and a hull pressure compartments diagram. Text reads:

U.S.S. REYKJAVÍK / NCC-1874
ARCHER-CLASS SCOUT SHIP

A compact vessel optimised for rapid, discreet reconnaissance beyond Federation borders

The Archer-class scout ship was a Starfleet vessel in service from the 2240s to the 2280s, conceived to operate far from support while avoiding attention. Designed during the Four Years War as a fast counter to Klingon Birds-of-Prey, the class entered service shortly after the conflict and proved highly successful in both wartime reconnaissance and peacetime exploration.

Small, lightly crewed, and austere, an Archer-class carried only fourteen personnel. Space constraints meant that only the captain and first officer had private quarters, with the rest of the crew sharing bunks on a rotating basis.

The ship lacked turbolifts, relying instead on ladders between its fourteen decks. Despite this, it included essential facilities such as a compact medical bay, science lab, transporter, and limited ground operations capability.

Technically, the class combined high speed with modest but effective armament: three Type-VI phaser banks, a pair of fore and aft torpedo launchers, and hull-conformal shields. Its flat profile produced a stable warp field, allowing sustained high-speed operations that often exceeded larger cruisers.

Data gathered by Archer-class scouts was routinely relayed to Starfleet Command, where heavier vessels were tasked with follow-up missions.

Named for Jonathan Archer, explorer and fourth President of the Federation, the class embodied Starfleet’s preference for reach, speed, and initiative at the frontier.

Ship designed by Masao Okazaki

CLASS PARTICULARS:

Overall Length - 45m
Overall Width - 23m
Overall Height - 9m
Entered service - 2242
Std. complement - 14
Shuttlecraft - 0
Cruising speed - W/F 7
