Mildly interesting - this is how I've been making traditional illustrations in past few years. I sort of question if there really is point in doing it traditionally, because I solve so much in digital and maybe digital would even look more snappy as final, but it's nice to work off screen sometimes

often I don't know what's actually going on in an image until after I've finished drawing it the story is in the alt text, but can you guess?

Three scrooks. In the bottom-middle is an EBEERO, a pink weirdo-class scrook with two arms, two horns on its head, and a snaky body with a rattle on the end that looks like a nest with eggs. Feeling threatened by a ROOGEL, a dinosaurian doof-class predatory scrook, the EBEERO rattles its tail. Rattling the tail calls the attention of a GOFSH, a green doof-class scrook with two legs and two leathery wings. Believing the rattle to be that of its own nest being ruffled through, it opens its beak twice the size of its own body to squawk at the ROOGEL. A GOFSH's squawking isn't a credible threat by any means, but YOU try eating a meal with a stupid bird yelling in your ear and see if it goes well for you.
