i can only conclude that anyone who still uses and/or posts art on twitter undervalues both their own work as well as their community it's like HP fans who claim to be allies. if you dont value trans people enough to forsake a nostalgic piece of media, you really don't value them much at all do you

No Detention Expansion in Alexandria, Louisiana

The current administration has been expanding the immigration detention system for almost two years and is planning to open a new facility intended to house families and kids. The administration has also reduced funding for legal representation for unaccompanied children, although some of these actions have been partially blocked by the courts.

Please take this action by @detentionwatch which @uusj.dc is a member of:

How many more generations will be denied Black queer history before we take action?
When we understand that our history is diverse, it changes our outlook. I hope that this Black History Month, we all take the time to uncover the history lessons we were denied in school

Listening to the 1968 BBC radio Hobbit and it’s refreshing to hear the dwarves being presented exactly the way the book in isolation does: not stout warriors, but a bunch of bourgeois, middle aged men who are so in over their heads that adding Bilbo increases their competence by an order of magitude

Digital illustration done in a rough ink style and shades of red. It’s Tim Curry as the big devil man from Legend. He’s all red wearing raggy black garment that still shows off all of his chest. He has a pair of absolutely massive bull-like horns on his head which is thrown back laughing and fists on hips, simply delighted as he contemplates the red lettering next to him which reads ‘Maine it will happen today’.
