"loyal to this brand for over eight months". Meanwhile, I'm over in Japan just giving money to The Pokémon Company every day here, living out 20+ year old dreams and having an amazing time. (Neither Munchlax nor Pokémon theme parks existed until early 2000s)

I'm no Bible scholar, but it sure has a lot of wild stories. Like the Tower of Babel, and the whole building something tall causing issues. Unrelated, here's my view from Tokyo Skytree.
Photo from the observation deck at Tokyo Skytree. Outside the windows is just clouds. You can't see anything.

I went through this whole aquarium and I haven't seen a single squirrel. Clearly the COEX Aquarium beats the Sunshine City Aquarium.

For some reason this didn't make it over from the bad place, but as noted, they only recommend _an_ annual hamburger, so I'm saving it for November and eating a bacon, egg & cheese from Smashburger instead.
Post from me from the bad place reading "Actually many doctors agree that an annual hamburger before 8am is part of a balanced diet."

It is very weird to realize that you left a stream of WSBK from September 10, 2001 playing, and to come back and find a Target ad set to "Beautiful World" by Devo.

I keep repeating this fun fact to people while they stare at me with feigned interest: “helicopter” is a compound word, but probably not in the way you think! it’s made up of “helico” as in, “spiral,” from the Greek “helix” and “pter” as in “wing,” like in pterodactyl!!

paying to watch the new Harry Potter directly funds trans genocide, the entire series has already been adapted faithfully, nothing will ever top the experience of reading the books as a child, and this tv show will literally never be completed, but hey—at least it looks really ugly and boring

JFA (Japan Football Association) Pikachu is here to cheer on Japan in his 3rd men's World Cup. He slept through the 2022 games as if he's JFA Snorlax or something.

Last time the U.S. hosted the World Cup, it (naturally) intersected with all of these events PLUS Arnold Palmer's last U.S. Open, as told in the faboo documentary "June 17, 1994," which probably would not exist except that this absurdly busy sports day also included... O.J. Simpson in the Bronco.
