Certainly there's no gameplay shown! I'd want to know about that before I committed to buying it, etc. But as a tone piece, or even just as a work of animation I think it's really solid. It makes me want to know more about the characters and the world, and how the two will interact.

I seem to be contrary to popular opinion again but I really like this trailer. It shows so much individual character as each participant joins the march. It tells a small story about who the key characters are without words, it has a narrative arc, and of course the music sells the whole thing.

The specifics of whether or not PAC actually violated the terms of his work visa are way above my pay grade, but regardless, WWE didn't say a word to USCIS for over a year. It only became a problem that they felt inclined to rat him out for when they realized a new moneyed startup was launching.

This is well-known throughout the wrestling business and among wrestling media. It was never reported because it's such a sensitive issue that everyone kind of quietly agrees not to report on that kind of visa stuff without the talent's permission. But with PAC passing away, that part is moot.

Since WWE's trying to exploit PAC's death, it's time to talk about this: Remember how PAC suddenly had visa issues when AEW started? Pac had the most beautiful finisher in wrestling, and for a long time he had a look & vibe I would describe as "underwear goblin." Though he was as good as literally any leading-man wrestler on earth, he excelled as a character actor in the ring. He was a fixture of my wrestling life. I'll miss him.
