Having been asked if we accept translations - we do! We do need confirmation from the original author that they approve of the translation and publication (if accepted).

Some of the records include the translators in the notes, because volunteers are awesome. For titles I touch, I am submitting as I go. But if these were data fields instead, functionality gains for research would be massive. E.g. click on a translator and see all their credits.

I've been working to compile a bibliography of cyberpunk prose translated into English. Clumsily, but I'm learning. ISFDB has been a tremendous resource for this, because of course it has. I do wish the record structure supported translator credits as data. #SFinTranslation

a golden retriever trots along a cement pathway outside with a city skyline in the distance. his front left paw is suspended in the air as he has been caught mid-step. he looks over at the camera with a little grin. he's holding a long leafy branch in his mouth. can't believe his luck at finding this razzle dazzle stick.

Mandalorian & Grogu was a lot of fun! I *very* much appreciated that the trailers did not give away the plot (AKA, they intentionally obfuscated it). The film was a solid installment to the Mando series, and I enjoyed this new adventure (+ the easter eggs)!

3 years ago today I took a long nap and woke up with something I struggled with and caused me anguish for 41 years gone from my life. Gender affirming care is life saving and game changing. I've experienced it first hand. And that's why we continue to fight to not see it stripped away for others.

The headless body of a giant mechanical woman washes ashore, and the villagers find themselves slowly transformed as they are drawn to it. An enigmatic, dreamy history of a strange occurrence by @ramirosanchiz.bsky.social translated by @molowrites.bsky.social
They said afterward that the first fishermen who’d gone down to the beach that morning had found her, but when the people from the village hurried to see what the tide had carried in, no one claimed to be the person who’d discovered her. It was as if the woman’s gigantic body had been there for days already, and the population of Punta de Piedra had only just realized she was there.
