My first question exploring any new website or feature is “how can I use this in a class escape room?” And by that measure, Canva Code is off the charts. I can generate accurate, interactive, functional widgets in seconds. I’m still processing what the implications of this will be… #EduSky #EduSkyAI

If you were to build a #UDL project menu, what you include? We’re looking at developing a menu of projects that students can choose from to demonstrate learning from any lesson or unit. The idea is that teachers don’t have to constantly dream up choices for every lesson. #EduSky #EduInFocus

A5: I have dabbled in customizing chat bots for students to interact with, and it felt promising. I created a bot to host a vocab game where students ask yes or no questions until they can correctly guess a vocab word. It made me feel like there were lots of playful ideas to discover #EduInFocus

A3: I have been slow to adopt this strategy because I don’t want students to feel like I’ve outsourced that work or that their thoughts aren’t important enough for my eyeballs and cognitive bandwidth. I am more interested in students using AI in pro-learning ways to seek out feedback #EduInFocus

A3: I ran a who-dunnit activity with 5th grade students for argumentative writing and found that they weren’t making some connections. I conversed with AI until I had a “strategy guide for detectives” and referenced it every time students felt stuck. #EduInFocus

Implementing #UDL at the new school has been more cherished than I anticipated. We decided to start with #Assessment. It’s a huge perspective shift for most of the faculty but everyone is truly excited about it. Baby steps, but very important ones.
