Quick tip: capitalize the first letter of each word in your hashtags. In lowercase, multi-word hashtags can run together into a jumble for screen reader users. Capitalizing each word helps them come through clearly, and it's easier for everyone to read, too. 💜

Fancy cursive or bubble letters might stand out, but they leave out people who rely on a screen reader. ✨ Make it a habit to type in standard letters. If you copied it from a "fancy font" generator, skip it—save the visual styling for your graphics instead.

A photo without a description is invisible to a screen reader user. Not vague—invisible. ✨ Make it a habit to add alt text to every image you post. Tip: describe it like you're telling a friend on the phone what's in it. No need for every detail, just enough that someone gets the same picture.
