While they (probably) wouldn't try to rip out any existing bike lanes, it would be foolish to assume a Liberal or NDP government would naturally repeal Bill 60 and relinquish provincial oversight over new bike lanes. Make them say so.

Hot take: even if you live in a "safe" riding, show up and speak out to support/encourage/challenge your local official to be bolder. It's not enough just to defeat the awful. We need the good to be better.

All those Toronto drivers who shouted about bike lanes' [non-existent] effect on emergency vehicles will no doubt throw their support behind congestion pricing. Right?

I realise now it was naive of me to expect them to come out against bike lane removals too. "The five candidates for the Ontario Liberal leadership were put on the spot in Monday evening’s debate and asked for their views on involuntary drug treatment. "None came out clearly for or against it."

If you're a Dem who thinks you'll gain something by going anti-trans, look at Gallup's "most important problem" and Fox News' "most important issue" polling and see where trans issues rank. Whoever told you going anti-trans is a savvy or necessary move spends too much time on X and should be fired.
Gallup polling. "LGBTQ rights" moves between 0 and 1%.Fox news polling. Wokeness/transgender issues at 0%.

It’s very simple and it’s been said over and over but I guess it needs saying continuously: if you deem one group too small to have equal rights you are enabling fascism, not fighting it. The people saying Dems are GREAT on trans rights are not paying attention and/or saying stuff like this.

People enjoy many games/sports where machines are vastly betterThere are more possible chess games, by about 40 orders of magnitude, than atoms in the observable universe. To solve chess, you'd have to map them all. Good luck.

Wrong, all legal chess positions are ~40 oom less than the estimated atoms in the Universe. And ASI will figure out ways to solve and compress that are far beyond what we could possibly comprehend.
