I'm definitely thinking about Brother Love and The Sheik but also any other more obscure gimmicks like "The Mormon Giant" Don Leo Jonathan. They don't have to be explicitly religious either, they can be sort of "religion coded." Like, I'd consider Lord of Darkness Undertaker as counting.

Tip from my partner who is executive director of one of the biggest food pantries in our state: Donating food is great, especially if you have extra or clean out your kitchen. But money goes further. They can buy food cheaper than you can so they can stretch your money to feed more people.

I don’t watch so I can’t comment much on the creative. From a distance it seems more vanilla than the big swings and big misses of the end of Vince’s time. No more tearing up the show format an hour before it goes live. But for shareholders, it’s been better without Vince.

It really does. It’s hard to explain to no -wrestling folks the massive differences. That’s rad! I’m working on a book project about pro wrestling, religion, belief, kayfabe, and layers of reality. I’m branching from religious studies into more media stuff so I hope we cross paths sometime.
