What is different here is that they are not even attempting to connect the strikes to any lawful military objective. Making the population miserable is not a lawful military aim. It is not lawful to target civilian objects to foment civil unrest.

Isn't this a telling aspiration? To want robots to look after your kids, so you can do stuff, rather than robots to do stuff, so you can spend time with your kids? The darkness inside these shrivelled men must be like a gaping unfillable void.
NOW - Musk: "My prediction is there'll be more robots than people... everyone on Earth is going to have one and going to want one... who wouldn't want a robot to... watch over your kids, take care of your pets... we are in the most interesting time in history."

The Labour Left had total control over the party in 2020, lost it without much fight, and since then has been having a tantrum about the nasty boy who took their toys. The Labour right stole the toys and has not stopped gloating since. It seems that's the only thing they know how to do.

didn't take much for these guys to go from "big government is bad" to "what's the big deal if you're abducted by the government and trafficked to Mongolia"
Pascal-Emmanuel Gobry
@pegobry_en

Let's say you're a US citizen and ICE grabs you off
the street and puts you on a plane to Mongolia.
Don't you just go to your consulate, give them your
name, date of birth, etc., they make you a new
passport, and you fly home? They do this all day
for tourists who had their stuff & ID stolen, there
are procedures. I mean obviously it sucks to have
that happen to you but it's not like your life is over
or anything. And the government should definitely
write you a nice check as an apology.

Timothy Snyder is an expert of modern authoritarianism.
A quote from an article by Timothy Snyder titled "What Does It Mean That Donald Trump Is a Fascist?" published in The New Yorker. The quote reads: "It is predictable ... that he will give free rein to the oligarchs who, he knows, will continue to generate the social and digital bases of a politics of us and them. It is predictable that, in returning to power, he will seek to change the system so that he can remain in power until death. It is predictable that he will use deportations to divide us, to accustom us to violence, and to make accomplices of us. It is predictable that he will create a cult out of the martyrs of January 6th. It is predictable that he will cooperate with similarly minded rulers abroad."
