Cloudflare’s new “Pay per Crawl” lets sites charge AI bots for scraping, and it’ll block AI crawlers by default on new sites. The current model is unsustainable and I expect the best content on the web to eventually be paywalled for both humans and bots besides a few large ad supported platforms.
