I think @stahnma.us has an interesting thesis in this talk, but the workloads are not probabilistic. They're still deterministic. What's probabilistic is the creation of the inputs. It's not that the behavior of "f" in f(x) has changed; it's that *x* has changed.

I think Kelsey is right that non deterministic automation sucks. He’s wrong on the outcome - it will be that we build the right deterministic layer for agents to work with to solve our problems. Think “plain language compiler”. The LLM must do *as little as possible* to be effective.

The new Rise Against album, Ricochet (their 10th) is good so far (only a couple tracks in.) A big thing I'm struck by is the production - this is almost album rock production, with the kind of separation you usually hear on pop records. I love it. Same band, sounds like them, but fresh. Smart!

You're going to be blown away by how good using AI with System Initiative is. It's already handling fairly complex AWS deployments, troubleshooting issues, doing comprehensive summaries of changes. Having real high fidelity models, with an API that maps 1:1 makes it look easy.
