Some guided meditations are so mechanic, utilitarian. Breathe like this, think about that, now get back to being productive. A great meditation lifts you up from automatism, it's not just a pit stop. Like some great poems and songs; and just like that I realized I can use those as meditations.

I usually meditate unguided or using some of my saved guided meditations, but I tried the open source Medito for a while and it felt useful. But then it got worse? The scripts and voices started to sound very dull. Then I found that the creator denies AI use in those but is a full-on AI lover
