A: this is obviously stupid B: One of the reasons I started using an 'incentives lens' more often than a 'individual personality/morality defect lens' is that this is actually perfectly rational and understandable under the former.

I thought this was more to do with the fact that most armies switched to using zebras instead of horses. Any WWII buffs in here that can verify?
