Daunting but fascinating paper. I'm glad someone is doing this research. Perhaps one of the most feasible recommendations: "Focus on rooftops: The bulk of current electricity consumption could be covered using rooftops and degraded land" (a significant but recoverable investment).

We're currently on one of the faster tracks that lead to an early AMOC collapse according to this paper, adding a little over +2.5 ppm/year. Reducing the increase in atmospheric CO2 to +0.5 ppm/year would stave off the collapse. That requires something like 80% emission reduction. And rapidly, too.
