Correct but for the wrong reasons. AI won't go away but it has already made the internet (A seperate thing!) so much worse and has already caused significant amounts of physical destruction to both physical land and archives, databases etc. That legacy can't be undone

one of the most frustrating things about what Rowling has turned into is how hard it is to explain to offline people that she’s not just another author who has turned out to have shitty views - her entire life and fortune is dedicated to destroying trans people

Summary: 🧵 Life sucks ass, and navigating transitioning and becoming disabled at the same time is really hard, but im the best me I've ever been, and despite the lows, I've never been happier. Im becoming the person I always should've been, instead of the person I wished I was, and that's healing. 🖤

Life p3: 🧵 Despite playing final fantasy more than ever, I've actually fallen off of most games, and while I remember fromsoft games fondly, I dont think i have the energy left to play them anymore sadly.

Demi @lloptyr.bsky.social · 08/07/2026

Life p2:🧵 I've also been cutting some people who've hurt me repeatedly out of my life. This has been really difficult, but I've been supported by my friends, and I've found new friends along the way.

Demi @lloptyr.bsky.social · 08/07/2026

Life: 🧵 We moved out of the city recently, onto the peninsula, and i just wish I could get outside more cuz it's so pretty here. I've had to shave my head. Being bedridden is hell on hair, and while it was traumatizing to shave it off, I've been exploring wigs and finding positive solutions.

Demi @lloptyr.bsky.social · 08/07/2026

Identity p2:🧵 I've also finally come to terms with my aromantic nature recently. This has been a really difficult journey, and I'm still figuring out what some feelings mean, but im settling on gray aro for now at least. And of course, still poly, even when I'm in a mono situation

220

Demi @lloptyr.bsky.social · 08/07/2026

Identity:🧵 As transition continues, I find myself ever more squarely certain of my gender. I've always been a girl, just realizing it was difficult. My bisexuality has fluctuated a lot, leaning one way, and then the other, but for the moment at least I'm feeling very sapphic (though I love my bf)

120

Demi @lloptyr.bsky.social · 08/07/2026

Health p3: 🧵 During this time, my transition has gotten more and more intense (in good ways), though im hoping I still have a long ways to go.

Demi @lloptyr.bsky.social · 08/07/2026

Health p2: 🧵 Ive also developed really bad reoccurring tendonitis or carpal tunnel in my right wrist. Additionally, I've had some mental health issues flare up that I've yet to actually identify, but I have some suspicions.

Happy #PortfolioDay! I’m a freelance illustrator who loves fandom and nature.

Digitally painted portrait of Vox from Hazbin Hotel smiling sleazily. His left eye is doing the hypno thing he does. There are several screens in the background, all showing light blue static. Everything is lit in blue.

Digital painting of Hornet from Silksong. She stands facing away from the camera in a green, mossy landscape that dwarfs her, looking upwards to where there is light far above. Plants and vines in the foreground frame the image.

Photograph of a black and white ink portrait of Chris Redfield as he appears in Resident Evil: Requiem. He looks fed up.

Digital painting of Simon the convict from Iron Lung, framed by anglerfish teeth. He looks sad, or perhaps tired. There are many pressure gages in the background. Some of them are leaking blood. A couple of them are eyes. Everything is red.

19 clears on 3 different EXs last night, with increased drop chances, and only 1 set of wings. which we only got because half the party intentionally sacrificed themselves in the last 5% of vali's health. this was definitely necessary. speen and her knight were not so kind.

Ope, had an issue where audio was only playing in one speaker. I've reuploaded to fix the issue. YT weighs the first 12 hours of a video's life heavily so doing this is always spooky but sitting with discomfort and accepting mistakes as part of the process is kinda the whole thesis of the video.

⭐️ Who gets Commendation? ⭐️ One of the 3 Outstanding Members? or The 1 Outstanding Portrait? #FFXIV #FF14

Comic about giving Commendations in FFXIV. The three players but the Black Mage did a wonderful job in gameplay. But in the end, the three of them had simple portraits, while the Black Mage had the best looking portrait. They are deciding who to give the commendation to, and it seems like the Black Mage is taking the attention despite their not very good gameplay...

The news out of Kansas is even worse than you'd think. It's not just driver's licenses but also birth certificates so even people who happened to just be born in the state are impacted as well. Unfathomably evil all for *at most* 1,800 people www.cjonline.com/story/news/p...

What happens to birth certificates under new Kansas law?

The law similarly applies to birth certificates issued by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment's Office of Vital Statistics.

The law declares any birth certificate where the listed sex does not match the sex assigned at birth is now invalid. The state registrar must "correct any birth certificate records" that conflict with the law.

Jill Bronaugh, a KDHE spokesperson, said SB 244 directs the agency to "invalidate and reissue birth certificates that were amended due to sex identification."

"The reissued birth certificates will revert to individuals' sex at birth," Bronaugh told The Capital-Journal on Feb. 24. "KDHE estimates that there are over 1,800 birth certificates in our electronic system that have had changes made to the sex field.

"However, reasons for the changes to the sex field can range from correcting data entry errors to recognition of gender changes. KDHE's system doesn't currently track the cause of a change to the sex field — just that there was a change. Each record will have to be manually reviewed to ascertain the cause of the change. An individual must request their birth certificate be reissued from OVS, as we are unable to notify individuals if their birth certificate has been amended under SB 244."

My hot take is that "artistic nudity" provides nothing as a descriptor. Nudity and sexual action in an artistic medium is art. The intended usage does not change its status as art. Porn is art

it's all just art. "porn" is just art that makes you horny, in precisely the way that "horror" is art that makes you scared and "metroidvania" is art that makes you write video essays

Transfemme vanity is resistance. If trans women celebrating their own and each other’s bodies raises your heckles, I think you need to really evaluate what is upsetting you about it. If we’re loud about our joy, the joy can spread to others who are afraid to be loud.

Reminder that "degenerate" was a term coined by Nazis to describe art they didn't like and labeled problematic. Unless you have proof of real world harm, leave people alone and let them draw fucknasty shit. You have block and mute features. Stop making your disgust everyone else's problem.
