Remembering 2022 Electric Picnic when it also rained and rained. I was on a panel to discuss @marg50.bsky.social Margaret Ward’s Unmanageable Revolutionaries. There was such mud and endless walking but Margaret and I ended up laughing so much as we traversed the terrain and that is a nice memory.

#Onthisday in 1922, Michael Collins died from a gunshot wound sustained during an ambush at Béal na Bláth, County Cork. This bust of Michael Collins as well as a relief, both by Séamus Murphy, are on long-term loan and can be visited at the Michael Collins House in Clonakilty. #CrawfordArtGallery
